We are looking for one amazing band to perform at this year’s Big D NYE! Enter the Texas Motor Speedway Fast Track to Fame, a Big D NYE competition, to try to join our music line up and be seen and heard by over 1million potential new fans!
Here’s how it works…There is NO SUBMISSION FEE! From now until Saturday, September 28, 2013, we are looking for the best pop, rock and country bands with three or more members to submit their music for consideration using their ReverbNation RPK. It is highly recommended to have a completed ReverbNation RPK including videos and social sync. All artists must be eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. All participants must be legal residents of the forty-eight (48) contiguous United States, and must include one band member that resides within 300 miles of Dallas, Texas.
A panel of industry experts will determine the top twenty to advance to a fan voting round which will occur from Saturday, October 5, 2013-Sunday, October 27, 2013 on BigDNYE.com, on the Big D NYE Facebook page and on the Texas Motor Speedway Facebook page. The ten bands with the most number of votes will be screened by a panel of industry experts to determine who will play Big D NYE and ring in the New Year in front of tens of thousands of attendees and hundreds of thousands of TV viewers.
Besides playing the event and receiving multi-market exposure, we’re kicking in $1,000 cash prize for the winning band, PLUS all of the high definition footage and professional photography taken of your performance.
All entries must be acceptable for radio airplay with clean lyrics. Entries must contain vocals, but do not have to consist solely of vocals and must be accompanied by musical instruments. Any questions can be directed to kglass@bigdnye.com.
